Ceom 500 mg is a veterinary injectable antibiotic containing Cefquinome Sulphate, a 4th-generation cephalosporin. It is used for severe bacterial infections in livestock.

Uses / Indications
Ceom 500 mg is used in cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats, horses, and pigs for:

Mastitis (including E. coli mastitis)

Respiratory infections (pneumonia, pasteurellosis)

Septicemia (blood infections)

Metritis / uterine infections

Foot rot and lameness infections

Skin and soft tissue infections

General systemic bacterial infections
How it works

Stops bacterial cell wall formation

Kills both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria

Effective even in severe or resistant infections
Dosage (general veterinary use)

Cattle, Buffalo, Horse, Camel: 1 mg/kg body weight once daily

Goat, Sheep, Pig, Calf: 2 mg/kg body weight once daily

Duration: usually 3–5 days or as directed by veterinarian

Route: IM (intramuscular) or IV (intravenous) depending on case
