Dimivect is a veterinary antiprotozoal injection used for the treatment of blood parasite diseases in cattle, buffalo, sheep, and goats. It is effective against diseases like babesiosis, trypanosomiasis, and theileriosis.
Composition
Each ml contains:

Diminazene Diaceturate – 70 mg

Phenazone – 375 mg

Uses / Indications
Dimivect is used for treatment and control of:

Babesiosis (red water fever, tick fever)

How it works

Diminazene kills blood parasites (protozoa in RBCs)
-
Phenazone reduces fever, pain, and inflammation during infection
Dosage (general veterinary use)

Cattle / Buffalo / Sheep / Goat:
5–10 ml per 100 kg body weight -
Route: Deep intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC)

Repeat dose only if advised by veterinarian (usually after 24–48 hours depending on severity)
⚠️ Do not exceed total recommended dose due to toxicity risk of diminazene.

Important precautions
