Dosage / How to Use
From ‘similar’ amantras (including Uniray’s and other brands):
-
For large animals (cattle, camels etc.) for ticks, earsore, humpsore etc: 2 ml Amitraz 12.5% per litre of water. (in.virbac.com)
-
For mites: often higher dilution, e.g. 3‑4 ml per litre of water. (in.virbac.com)
-
For smaller animals (sheep, goats, pigs, dogs): often use lower dilution or smaller volumes. For example in “Miraz” brand: cattle/camel 2 ml/L; sheep/goat 4 ml/L etc. (ExportersIndia)
Precautions & Safety
-
Like many pesticides / acaricides, must be used carefully. Avoid contact with eyes, ingestion. Use protective clothing etc.
-
Follow withdrawal periods if used in food animals (milk, meat) to avoid residues. (Though I did not find the exact withdrawal period for the Uniray product from my sources.)
-
Not all animals are equally tolerant: check species, breed, age. Some small breeds may be more sensitive. (ExportersIndia)
